The short version: your order and remittance data never leaves your device. PayTrace processes everything locally in your browser. We don't store, transmit, or have access to any files you upload.
When you use PayTrace, you upload two files — a Shopify order export and a courier remittance report. These files are processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. At no point are these files transmitted to any server, stored in any database, or accessible to anyone other than you.
The reconciliation runs locally on your device. When you close the tab, all data is gone.
We collect minimal data necessary to operate the service. If you create an account, we store your email address and subscription status. We do not collect, store, or have access to any order data, remittance data, AWB numbers, or financial information from your files.
We use standard analytics to understand how people use the product — page views, feature usage, session duration. This data is anonymised and contains no personally identifiable information from your business.
We use cookies only for authentication — to keep you logged in between sessions. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not use third-party advertising networks.
We use Razorpay for payment processing. When you subscribe, your payment details are handled entirely by Razorpay and are never stored on our servers. We use standard cloud infrastructure for hosting the PayTrace application itself.
Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Since we do not store your file data, there is nothing to delete in that regard.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you. You can do this by contacting us at privacy@paytrace.in. We will respond within 30 days.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email and update the date at the top of this page.
